Mentors
Only a man can teach a boy what it means to be a man. Mentoring is the heart of the High Aspirations program and we are continually seeking African American men of high moral character to shepherd our young men into adulthood.
Mentors are expected to attend all High Aspirations Saturday programs and to make telephone contact with seven (7) program participants each week.
Mentors must be 23 years of age or older, pass a criminal background inspection, participate in an interview with our Concerned Mothers & Sisters and complete an orientation and training program before being accepted to the program.
